Are you one of those people who follows the plight of families who are dealing with a loved one in ARDS crisis?

As those in the ARDS Community know, hospitalizations for ARDS patients can last weeks, or even months. Families are often without time to do anything other than go back and forth to the hospital. Often people want to do just a little more than offer thoughts and prayers.

Introducing Project: Helping Hands

If you want to do something to make a difference, to help those families most in need at a critical time, you can send in gift cards, from a national chain, of any denomination to ARDS Foundation.  We will then mail out gift cards to families in need. 

Gift cards can be from national food establishments, gas station chains, coffee chains, phone cards, pizza chains, anything that suddenly becomes enormous to deal with while running to the hospital all the time.

While we cannot ensure that a specific family receives a specific gift card, you might want to include a quick note to those families in need, offering your thoughts and prayers.

What do you do?

First, on the right hand side of the page, there is a place to 'Join Now'

Put your email address in and click on the link.

That will take you to another page where you can put in your charity to donate to... if you put in ARDS, and click search, ARDS Foundation will come up. (You do not have to put our site in)

Then click on ARDS Foundation and fill out the member information section and the member agreement, click on SUBMIT and then, shop as usual!

Helping Families with ARDS

This is a picture of Cris Rose, enjoying a starbucks from the gift card we sent his family when he was in crisis. They saved it for him to enjoy, as a survivor!
