American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago's first Women & Lung Health Conference

Photo of Eileen & StephanieARDS Foundation President, Eileen Rubin Zacharias, and Chicago ARDS Foundation Volunteer and Survivor, Stephanie Ball Linebaugh participated in the American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago's first Women & Lung Health Conference.

During the conference, Eileen and Stephanie were able to educate the many attendees who had never heard about ARDS with their own personal stories.  Also, they were able to meet many in the medical profession who attended the conference and are on the front lines treating patients and doing research regarding lung syndromes and diseases.

After a full day, both felt they had done just a little bit more to "Make a Difference" in our constant battle against ARDS.

Remember that every person counts, every dollar counts, every voice counts.

Help us raise money!

On the evening of Sunday, November 14,2004 The ARDS Foundation is part of The Westfield Works Wonders event to be held at the Westfield/Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL. This is an exclusive evening of early holiday shopping. The event is designed to raise money for charitable organization, while at the same time to create an enjoyable shopping event for customers prior to the busy holiday season!

How does it work? Contact Paula by filling out our Contact Form. Buy a ticket to the event for $5 and shop! It is that easy. 100% of the $5 cost goes to the ARDS Foundation! That night there will be special discounts at the stores, Free Gift Boxes, Grand Prizes, Entertainment, Refreshments and More! The mall is closed to the general public, only those who buy tickets can attend (tickets can be purchased that night).

If anyone lives in the area and would like to help sell tickets, please let me know. The first 15 organizations to sell 100 tickets can also have a representative sitting at the door to sell tickets that night, so lets get the first 100 sold!

What a great way to "Make a Difference" and get your holiday shopping done!

Thanks!
