Student-Falculty Basketball Game Fundraiser |

Katelyn Nerbonne is a Senior at Bow High School, and as part of her senior project, held a student-falculty basketball game, to raise funds for the ARDS Foundation. Katelyn lost her grandmother to ARDS in 2004 after an 8 month battle. The event brought in over $500! What a great way to not only honor her grandmother, but also make a difference!

Normand Provencal, who lost his battle with ARDS on September 1, 2005, Family Members raise $1385.00 for ARDS Foundation. Normand was a great husband, father, and friend and he is dearly missed by many.

Suzanne Provencal wanted to make a difference this lenten season, she gave up her morning coffee at a local resturant and sent the money she would have spent on it to the ARDS Foundation. Suzanne lost her father Normand to ARDS in September, 2005 and wanted to do something in his memory. What a great way to make a difference!

On the evening of Sunday, November 13th, 2005 The ARDS Foundation is part of The Westfield Works Wonders event to be held at the Westfield/Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL. This is an exclusive evening of early holiday shopping. The event is designed to raise money for charitable organization, while at the same time to create an enjoyable shopping event for customers prior to the busy holiday season!
How does it work? Buy a ticket to the event for $10 and shop! It is that easy. 70% of the $10 cost goes to the ARDS Foundation! That night there will be special discounts at the stores, Free Gift Boxes, Grand Prizes, Entertainment, Refreshments and More!
If anyone lives in the area and would like to help sell tickets, please let me know. We will have a booth that night to also sell tickets, so if you are in the area stop by!

Nicola Farnon Jazz Quintet to hold a concert in Sheffield, England to benefit the ARDS Foundation |
Nicola Farnon Jazz Quintet a well known Sheffield Jazz Band who plays lively varied modern jazz classics is holding a benefit at (St John's Church in, Ranmoor, Sheffield on Saturday 15th October 05 at 7.30pm.
The church holds 650 people and the organizers were hoping for a sell out since all proceeds will benefit the ARDS Foundation. Tickets are priced at £8 and student tickets £3. They could be bought as a present for people with family in the North/East/South/West Yorkshire area or a student ticket of £3 could be purchased as a way of making a donation. |

South Florida ARDS Fundraiser! |
Karapaloza, which was held on Saturday, May 14th at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, Florida, was a great success.
The benefit was in memory of Thomas's daughter, Kristen, who recently lost her battle against ARDS at the too young age of nineteen.
The proceeds of the benefit, $812.00, have been donated in Kristen's memory to the ARDS Foundation to make a difference. |

Lily, age 8, is helping to make a difference by soliciting donations for candy, cookies, and gum. Her efforts will will benefit medical research of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
